At Fresible Music, we want to help our artists succeed while protecting their rights — and the rights of others. One of the most important things to understand in the music industry is copyright infringement.
Copyright infringement happens when someone uses a copyrighted work without the permission of the copyright owner.
In music, this could mean:
Uploading or distributing someone else’s song without permission.
Using another artist’s beat, instrumental, or lyrics without a license.
Sampling a song without proper clearance.
Uploading a track that contains copyrighted audio from movies, TV shows, or games without rights.
Even if you give credit, it does not replace the need for permission or licensing.
Fresible Music strictly follows copyright laws and the policies of streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, and YouTube.
If you upload a track that infringes on someone else’s copyright:
Your release may be blocked or taken down.
You may face strikes or penalties from streaming platforms.
In serious cases, legal action can be taken by the copyright owner.
Only upload music you fully own or have permission to use.
If you use beats or samples, ensure you have the proper license.
For collaborations, have written agreements in place on ownership and revenue splits.
Use royalty-free or properly licensed material for cover art, intros, or background audio.
