Why Are My Songs Flagged for Copyright Infringement on Social Media?

If you’ve already distributed your songs through Fresible Music and notice that they are being flagged as copyright infringements on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram, this usually happens due to content protection systems used by these platforms.

Why This Happens:

1. Digital Fingerprinting:
Platforms like YouTube and TikTok use automated systems (such as Content ID) to detect copyrighted material. Since your song is registered with these systems through Fresible Music, it may automatically flag uploads by other accounts—even your own.

2. Multiple Uploads:
If the same song is uploaded by multiple accounts, the platform may treat your personal upload as a potential infringement.

3. Ownership Verification:
Social platforms need to verify that the uploader has the rights to the content. Until your account is recognized as the official artist account, some uploads may be blocked or claimed by automated systems.

How to Avoid Issues:

Use Your Official Artist Account:
Platforms like TikTok and Instagram allow artists to verify their profiles. Linking your distributed songs to your Artist Account reduces the risk of copyright flags.

Dispute or Claim the Content:
If your song is flagged, you can submit a dispute or claim that you are the rightful owner.

Check Platform Guidelines:
Each platform has specific rules about uploading copyrighted music. Make sure to review their music usage policies before posting.
